Manufacturing

Short supply chains, high-quality materials, recycled plastics, common sense.

For Jack Meal, manufacturing locally is not a marketing ploy.
It's a matter of common sense - ecological, human and industrial.

Each Jack Meal product is designed, prototyped, conceived, woven and assembled in France, in a short supply chain logic inspired by organic farming: just as we grow a carrot, we make a bag here.

With the same principles: traceability, seasonality, direct link with producers, and respect for life - human as well as environmental.

All our products are carefully manufactured in France.

100% locally collected and recycled plastics

100% locally collected and recycled plastics

  • 100% of the plastic used for the insulation in our insulated bags is recycled and collected in France through controlled supply chains
  • The composition labels are also woven from recycled plastic to minimize the use of virgin plastic as much as possible.
We choose quality materials

We choose quality materials

  • The inner and outer fabrics of the new collection (excluding the taupe gray M model) are 100% cotton, woven in France.
  • By highlighting local materials, French textile expertise, and a circular economy on a human scale.
  • In the future, some fabrics or fibers may come from Europe or certified recycled polyester supply chains, but always with this commitment: to produce less, produce well, and produce locally.

This choice is no accident: it guarantees a natural, sustainable, and easily recyclable material, designed from the outset to have a true end-of-life—even though our bags are built to last.

Locally and ethically produced

Locally and ethically produced

Our bags are made in France, in Roubaix and Marseille, in partner workshops that share our values:

  • local employment and integration,
  • handcrafted quality
  • close relationships.

Working in a short circuit allows us to be responsive and responsible, to maintain a direct link with the production teams and to avoid the fragmentation of supply chains.

It is also a way for us to work together toward a common goal, to strengthen the French textile industry, and to restore it to the prominent role it deserves in a coherent ecological transition.

Jack Meal moves forward with patience, transparency and consistency: a reasoned, human and repairable production, designed to last a long time and travel far, without ever losing its meaning.
