How do I maintain my Jack Meal products to keep them in good condition for as long as possible?
1. Washing
- Machine wash: delicate cycle at 30°C (short cycle).
- Hand wash: also possible, using lukewarm water and mild soap; rub gently
- Drying : let the bag air dry flat in the shade, or use a short, delicate cycle in the dryer.
- Avoid : bleach or harsh solvents.
Stains : dab, then clean with a paste of baking soda and water if necessary; rinse with a damp sponge.
2. Internal protection
To limit staining, place a clean cloth or small towel at the bottom of the bag before putting your pots and pans in it.
3. External protection
To prevent premature wear and tear on the bag, place it on a countertop when you’re using it or on a tablecloth when you’re on the go.
4. Shelf life & storage
Store in a clean, dry place, open, away from heat sources. With proper care, the bag can last 10 years or more.
