Choose the Jack Meal bag that suits you

Choosing the right bag size makes traveling and cooking easier: optimal cooking and storage, ergonomic comfort throughout the day, and easy organization. Below is a simple guide to help you find the right size based on your needs and what you carry every day.

• The dimensions given are L × H × D (cm) — length (front width), height, depth — and the approximate capacity in litres .

• If you are hesitating between two sizes, take the larger one if you often carry several containers or a large bottle; otherwise the smaller one will be more compact and lighter.

Practical guidelines — what can be included in each size?

• XS : baby bottles, yogurts, snacks, compote, small children's sandwiches or small 1L saucepan.

• S : standard Bento lunchbox (approx. 1 L) + fruit + cutlery or 2.2L saucepan.

• M : 5L saucepan or about ten 330ml drinks.

• L : 8L saucepan or 3+ bottles (750 or 1000ml).

How to measure (if you need to check)

1. Measure the diameter of your saucepans.

2. Measure the length (L), height (H) and depth/thickness (P) in cm.

3. Compare with the table above, leaving ~2 cm margin for insulation and closure.

NB: The base diameter of the XS bag is 22 cm, of the S bag 27 cm, of the M bag 64 cm and of the L bag 45 cm.

• XS : approximately 400g

• S : approximately 500g

• M : approximately 800g

• L: approximately 1000g

Selection tips

• Do you primarily want to cook with your bag? Take size M (or L if there are more than three or four of you).

• Do you want a compact bag for a child or for snacks? Take XS or S.

If you are using rectangular boxes or wide dishes, check the length first.
